Using Sayso

Sayso is free for personal use. You may install it on your own computers. Please don't sell it, pass it off as your own, or use it to break the law or to record people without their permission.

It acts on your computer

Sayso can type for you and carry out what you say: open and close apps, change the volume, lock your PC, and (with a 10-second chance to say "cancel") shut down, restart or sign out. Speech recognition isn't perfect, so check what it types and what it does, especially before sending messages or closing apps with unsaved work. Closing works like clicking ×, so apps can still ask you to save first.

Other services

When you ask for the weather, a web search or a question it can't answer itself, Sayso uses or opens other services (such as Open-Meteo, Google, YouTube or your chosen AI assistant). Their own terms apply to them. See our privacy policy for exactly what is sent and when.

No warranty

Sayso is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the makers of Sayso aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, messages or work, arising from using Sayso or this website.

Changes

We may update Sayso and these terms. When the terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top; using Sayso after that means you accept the new terms.
